Today, Chargée d'Affaires of Ukraine in Belgium Ms. Nataliia Anoshyna met with the Mayor of the city of Brakel and Member of the Parliament (former Prime Mini
ster of the Kingdom of Belgium) Mr.
Alexander De Croo.
During the meeting the parties discussed the current security situation in Ukraine, military support and key needs of our country, in particular in the humanitarian sphere.
An important element of the discussion was the cooperation between Ukrainian and Belgian cities in the context of reconstruction and recovery of Ukraine.
Ms. Nataliia Anoshyna presented Mr. Alexander De Croo with a Trident made with 135 cartridge cases by a Ukrainian defender found in Kyiv region.
The Embassy of Ukraine expresses its sincere gratitude to Mr. De Сroo for all the support and assistance that Ukraine has received, including during his leadership, as well as the openness and readiness to help our country as long as Ukraine needs it as Mayor of Brakel and Member of the Parliament.
