The cooperation between Ukraine and the Kingdom of Belgium is actively developing in the field of science and education. Inter-university partnership agreements are signed between:

Drohobych Ivan Franko State Pedagogical University and University of Applied Sciences (VIVES), Kortrijk;

Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and the University of Leuven (KULeuven);

Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, Odessa National Polytechnic University and Ghent University (UGent);

Uzhgorod National University and Robert Schuman High School;

Poltava National Technical University and Mons University (UMons);

Kremenchug Polytechnic University and Mons University (UMons);

Poltava State Agrarian Academy and Mons University (UMons).

Since 2010, Ukrainian diplomats have an opportunity to study annually in the French language program in International Relations at the University of Mons with the support of Wallonia-Brussels External Relations Administration.

Every year Ukrainian students also take a one-year course at the College of Europe in Bruges.
