The formal opening of the digital exhibition titled “Make Russia Pay!” has taken place at the SHAME Gallery today.
This exhibition “Make Russia Pay” is a brief look at Russia's war in Ukraine in numbers, giving viewers a very tangible idea of the losses Ukraine has suffered due to Russia's invasion, as well as its cost to the world and Ukraine's partners. The goal is to explain why and for what Russia must pay, and to call on the international community to hold Russia
accountable for its actions.
The project is part of a larger advocacy campaign Make Russia Pay conducted by Ukrainian civil society activists to direct frozen Russian state assets to Ukraine in order to compensate for the damage caused and stop this war.
We express deep gratitude to the organizers of the project — Warsaw-based International Centre for Ukrainian Victory, the Ukrainian NGO — the ANTS Network, U4U, Ukrainian Mission to the EU, Ukrainian Prism and GMF and everyone involved in this event!
Mr. Andrius Kubilius, Member of the European Parliament, Mr. Kurt Volker, Former United States Special Representative for Ukraine Negotiations, Mrs. Nataliia Anoshyna, Chargé d’Affaires of Ukraine in Belgium were invited to speak before guests about the need to bring russia to justice.
Russia must pay for all the crimes it has committed against Ukraine and Ukrainians!
