On 19 August 2010, H.E. Mr. Ihor Dolhov, the Ambassador of Ukraine to Belgium, met with Mr. Rudi Thomaes, Executive Director, Federation of Enterprises of Belgium.

During the meeting, the topical issues of bilateral Ukrainian-Belgian economic cooperation were discussed. The sides paid considerable attention to preparations of the Prince Philippe’s Economic Mission to Ukraine this fall. Also was discussed the issue on preparation of Euro 2012 football championship in Ukraine, in particularly in the context of Belgian experience in carrying out the similar event in 2000.

The sides highlighted the importance of keeping on the dynamic economic development of relations between Ukraine and Belgium.
