On 29 November 2010 the meeting of the Ambassador of Ukraine to Belgium Ihor Dolhov with the Chairman of the Belgian Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defense Karl Vanlouwe took place at the Belgian Federal Parliament.

In the course of the conversation the parties exchanged their views on the internal policy of Ukraine and Belgium, current state of the bilateral relations before Belgian Crown Prince Philippe's economic mission to Kyiv and the range of issues related to the upcoming EU-Ukraine Summit preparation, in particular, visa-free regime, free trade area and association agreement.

Special attention was drawn to the importance of cooperation between Ukrainian and Belgian parliaments and sustaining positive dynamics of these relations.
