On 29 October 2010 Head of Mission of Ukraine to NATO, Ambassador I. olhov met with a group of directors of in-service training institutes for public servants from different region of Ukraine, which visited NATO headquarters in Brussels.
During the meeting the Head of the Ukrainian mission to NATO informed the members of Ukrainian delegation about the main activities of the Mission, outlined the main challenges faced by Ukrainian diplomats in the development of mutually beneficial cooperation with NATO, and told about existing projects implemented in Ukraine by the support of Alliance and the contribution of our country to NATO-led operations and missions.
I. Dolhov urged officials widely inform civil servants in Ukraine on the new nature of NATO during their trainings.
During the visit to NATO headquarters, Ukrainian delegation also took part in a series of briefings on new Strategic Concept, NATO relations with Russia and Ukraine, as well as the main tasks of Alliance in combating terrorism, piracy, drug trafficking, cyber and missile threats.
The visit was organized by the assistance of NATO Public Diplomacy Division and NATO Information and Documentation Centre in Ukraine.
