On 05 November 2010, the meeting of H.E. Mr. Ihor Dolhov, Ambassador of Ukraine to the Kingdom of Belgium with Mrs. Annemie Turtelboom, Minister of Interior of the Kingdom of Belgium took place in Brussels.

During the meeting a wide range of issues on bilateral cooperation and European integration of Ukraine were discussed. In particular, in the context of preparations to the forthcoming Ukraine-EU summit, scheduled for the 22nd of November 2010 in Brussels, the parties exchanged views on the prospects of Ukraine to receive an Action plan on visa-free travel regime. Also discussed were preparations of the Ukrainian-Belgian intergovernmental Agreement on police cooperation and fighting against the crime, as well as holding of interagency consultations on the text of the Agreement.

At the meeting they also touched the issues on fighting against illegal migration, human trafficking and other aspects of international organized crimes and cooperation in internal affairs.
