On 16 November 2010 the Ambassador of Ukraine to Belgium Ihor Dolhov met with the President of Belgian House of Representatives, André Flahaut and Chairman of the Belgian Senate Danny Pieters.

In the course of the conversation the parties exchanged their views on the perspectives of bilateral cooperation between parliaments, global and European processes, internal policy of Ukraine and Belgium, ways of combating world economic crisis, preparation to the Football Championship Euro 2012 in Ukraine, as well as organization of Belgian economic mission to Ukraine headed by Crown Prince Philippe.

The chairmen of Belgian Parliament expressed their support of the democratic development of Ukraine, European aspirations of the country and showed their interest in future cooperation.
