On 7 April 2011 Ambassador of Ukraine Ihor DOLHOV met with Head of Parliament Group of friendship Belgium – Ukraine, Senator Bart TOMMELEIN at the Federal Parliament of Belgium.

During the meeting the issues of current state and prospects of development of the Ukrainian-Belgian inter-parliament cooperation, as well as intensification of cooperation at the level of respective parliament’s groups of friendship at the Federal Parliament of Belgium and Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine were mentioned.

In the context of carrying out of international events on the occasion of the 25th Anniversary of Chernobyl Catastrophe, which are scheduled for second half of April in Ukraine, the issue concerning the level of Belgium’s representatives was discussed.

The Sides also exchanged their views on topical international events.
