On 05 April 2011 Ambassador of Ukraine H.E. Mr. Ihor DOLHOV met with Mr. K.Velle, General Archivist of the Kingdom, General Director of State Archives of Belgium.

During the meeting the Sides exchanged their views on prospects of development of the Ukrainian-Belgian relations in the archive sphere, issues on launching bilateral projects (in particular on the occasion of 20th Anniversary of establishment of the diplomatic relations between Ukraine and Belgium), as well as cooperation in the framework of the International Council for Archives. There was a detailed discussion of the issue on the possibility of signing this year of the Agreement on cooperation between State Service for Archives of Ukraine and State Archives of Belgium, which consideration is on the final step.
