Ukraine’s Ambassador Ihor Dolhov paid a working visit to Luxembourg on October 3, 2013.

Ambassador of Ukraine held meetings with Mr. Laurent Mosar, Chairman of the Chamber of Deputies of Luxembourg, Mr. Ben Fayot, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign and European Affairs, Defense, Cooperation and Immigration, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Grand Duchy.

During the meeting mutual interest to continue the development of cooperation between the two countries was stated. President of the Chamber of Deputies expressed satisfaction with the productive work of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, which resulted in the adoption of several laws in the context of the EU recommendations, and expressed hope for continuation of the initiated reforms.

Luxembourg confirmed its continued support for European integration of Ukraine and its willingness to work together to ensure the success of the Eastern Partnership summit of and the signature of the Association Agreement Ukraine-EU in November 2013.

As a result of the visit the Sides underlined the significant potential of development of bilateral relations.
