On 30 July 2010, the Ambassador of Ukraine to Belgium, H.E. Mr. Dolhov held a meeting with the Director-General of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Belgium, Mr. Van Gulk.

During the meeting, the current state and perspectives of Ukrainian-Belgian economic cooperation were discussed, in particular in the framework of improving the cooperation between Belgian and Ukrainian regional trade and industrial chambers. Addressed also were the issues related to the involvement of the top management of leading Belgian enterprises in the Prince Philippe’s Economic Mission to Ukraine in November 2010, the creation of the Ukrainian-Belgian Chamber of Commerce, the exchange of information on business opportunities.

The Head of the Belgian Federation expressed his readiness to lend a full support to the initiatives advanced by both countries’ business circles in the development of economic, financial and investment cooperation between Ukraine and Belgium.
