On 12 May 2011 Ambassador of Ukraine in Belgium Mr. Ihor Dolhov met with the Head of parliamentary delegation of Belgium in PACE, member of the Chamber of Representatives of Belgium Mr. Patrick MORIAU at the Federal Parliament of Belgium.

During the meeting the issues on prospects of cooperation between Ukraine and Belgium in the framework of international parliamentary associations were discussed. The counterpart was informed about Ukraine’s implementation of commitments, undertaken before entering the Council of Europe, as well as priorities of Ukraine’s Presidency in the Council of Europe which started on 11 May this year. Belgian politician expressed his readiness for cooperation in the issues, connected first of all with development of local self-government, having a great experience in mentioned sphere.

The Sides also exchanged their views on current international problems.
