Members of the Parliamentary friendship’s group Belgium-Ukraine, headed by Senator Bart Tommelein visited the Embassy of Ukraine in Belgium.

On 19 May 2011 the members of the Parliamentary friendship’s group Belgium-Ukraine, headed by Senator Bart Tommelein visited the Embassy of Ukraine in Belgium.

During the conversation Ambassador of Ukraine I.Dolhov informed members of the Parliamentary friendship’s group about priorities of Ukraine during its Presidency in the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe, as well as of negotiations concerning conclusion of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and EU, visa-free dialogue with EU. Ambassador of Ukraine also expressed his expectations in having support from Belgian parliamentarians of Ukraine’s Euro integration’s aspirations.

Issues of current state and prospects of development of the Ukrainian-Belgian inter-parliamentary cooperation were discussed. Members of the Parliamentary friendship’s group Belgium-Ukraine shared their impression from exhibition of Ukraine’s artist S.Lyashuk-Lybiha  «Ukrainian paints»  at the Embassy of Ukraine in Belgium on the occasion of the 20th Anniversary of Ukraine’s Independence.
