After a festive liturgy and a performance of "Svitanok" choir, participants were welcomed by the Minister Counsellor of the Embassy Yan Omelchenko, who read out the greetings of the Minister for Foreign Affairs Kostyantyn Gryshchenko to Ukrainians dedicated to the Independence Day.

The solemn event of the Ukrainian community was completed by performance of the prayer for Ukraine.
