On 12 October 2011, H.E. Mr. Ihor DOLHOV, Ambassador of Ukraine to Belgium paid a working visit to the Province of Limburg. During the visit Ambassador met with Mr. Herman Reynders, Governor of the Province of Limburg, as well as with representatives from CCI and business circles of the region. Ambassador and Governor also visited small town Waterschei, famous for its coal-mining industry.

During the meeting with the Governor the prospects of cooperation in sharing experience on lands’ re-cultivation after closure of coal mines were discussed. The Sides also exchanged their views on current state and prospects of cooperation with regions of Ukraine, in particular Chernihiv region.

In the framework of the meeting with the representatives of business circles Ambassador informed his interlocutors on reforms in Ukraine and actions made by the Government to improve investment climate in Ukraine.
