With the support of the Embassy of Ukraine to Belgium and the assistance of the Belgian cultural centre BOZAR, a Bookshelf was opened in Brussels as part of the charity event «Ukrainian Books for Ukrainian Children!»

It was a great honour for us that the opening of the Ukrainian shelf took place with the participation of the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Belgium, Ms. Hadja Lahbib. We are sincerely grateful to the Minister for her support!

«Ukrainian Books for Ukrainian Children!» is a project aimed at disseminating Ukrainian literature abroad for young Ukrainians who were forced to leave Ukraine as a result of russian military aggression.

We invite young Ukrainians to BOZAR to get acquainted with the works of Ukrainian authors!

As this campaign is a charity event, it is expected that after reading a book, its temporary owner will return it to the Bookshelf so that as many readers as possible can plunge in the world of Ukrainian literature.

We are grateful to our friends and partners from the BOZAR cultural centre for their help in organising the Ukrainian Books for Ukraininan Children project.

The initiative has been implemented in more than 40 countries around the world by the State Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine in cooperation with the Office of the President of Ukraine, the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
