With a goal to intensify bilateral business cooperation between Ukraine and Belgium, a meeting was held between the Ukrainian delegation led by the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine Mr. Hennadiy Chyzhikov, as well as representatives of Ukrainian business with the leadership of the Brussels Enterprises Commerce and Industry Beci Brussels (BECI) headed by CEO of BECI Mr. Olivier Willocx and the President of BECI Ms. Annick Hernot.

During the dialogue, the Belgian side was informed about the conditions of functioning of Ukrainian business during the war, and the importance of foreign, in particular, Belgian investments in the reconstruction and restoration of Ukraine.

The main conclusion of the meeting is that Belgian business is interested in the implementation of mutually beneficial projects in Ukraine, even at the time of ongoing full-scale russian aggression.

In turn, the Embassy of Ukraine in Belgium will contribute as much as it can so that Ukrainian business can successfully present itself and implement itself in the Kingdom of Belgium.
