Chargé d’affaires of Ukraine to the Kingdom of Belgium Yehor Pyvovarov visited the Ukrainian Art Week and expressed his gratitude to the Head of the Ukrainian Cultural Center in Bruges, Mrs. Svitlana Lebiga, as well as Mr. Guillaume Vanbeckevoort for organizing a real Ukrainian holiday in Bruges.

These autumn days all the citizens of Bruges and the guests of this lovely city have a great opportunity to discover the creativity of Ukrainian nation and its diversity. Here you can see the paintings of artists not only from almost all the regions Ukraine, but also Ukrainian artists working in different corners of the world. It is very important that among the participants, there are artists from the territories of Ukraine that are temporarily occupied by Russia – the cities of Donetsk and Luhansk. This cultural event shows that Ukraine is and always will be united.

 This year the exhibition is much broader, also thanks to a Ukrainian diaspora representative living in Belgium – Nadia Halaburda, who’s presenting the collection of the Ukrainian traditional clothes.
