The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba visited Brussels with a bilateral working visit.
As part of the visit, the Minister met with his Belgian colleague Hadja Lahbib today.
During the meeting, the high-ranking officials reached agreements on the priority of Ukraine's EU membership accession during Belgium's presidency of the Council of the European Union.
Also was discussed the introduction by Belgium of the mechanism of using tax proceeds from frozen russian assets for the restoration of Ukraine, the implementation of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's Peace Formula, assistance to our country in the energy sector and cooperation between Ukraine and Belgium in the field of culture.
The ministers made statements to Belgian and Ukrainian media.
"I heard a clear signal that Belgium understands the historic mission and responsibility in the context of this presidency, during which important decisions will be made and the foundations of Ukraine's future accession to the European Union will be laid," said Minister Dmytro Kuleba.
