On 12-14 December 2012, the delegation of representatives of business circles of Zhytomyr region, headed by the Deputy Governor-Head of staff of Zhytomyr regional Administration of Ukraine Mr. Oleksandr Nykytyuk, visited Belgium

Presentation of economic and investment potential of Zhytomyr region took place in the framework of the visit, as well as main investment projects in the sphere of industry, agriculture, municipal economy and innovation were presented. Meeting of the Ukrainian and Belgian business representatives were also organized. Memorandum on cooperation between Zhytomyr region State administration and Belgian-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce, aimed at promoting development of bilateral economic relations between our countries, was signed.

As a result of Zhytomyr delegation’s visit to Belgium, representatives from both countries emphasized their desire to continue existing cooperation and to establish new contacts.
