On March 3rd, 2012, the festive events on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Ukraine and Belgium were held at the Embassy of Ukraine to Belgium with the participation of the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Kostyantyn Gryshchenko.

The exhibition of archives on history of economic cooperation between Ukraine and Belgium in the XIX and XX centuries was opened in the premises of the Embassy of Ukraine. The exhibition was prepared on the basis of D. Yavornytsky History Museum of Dnipropetrovsk with the support of the Foundation “European Development” (Chairman - MP of Ukraine Volodymyr Vecherko) and NGO “Ukraine – Belgium” (Chairman - Sergei Chaika).

The Embassy also presented a special edition - “Ukraine” - of “The European Times” magazine, dedicated to economic, cultural and tourism potential of Ukraine.
