On the 3rd of September 2018 the Ambassador of Ukraine in the Kingdom of Belgium Mykola Tochytskyi held a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea in the Kingdom of Belgium Kim Hyoung-Zhin. Their Excellencies discussed Ukraine-Korea bilateral relations, economical, scientific and technological cooperation.
The Ambassador of the Republic of Korea stressed that his country has repeatedly expressed support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, stated the non-recognition of the so-called "Crimean referendum" and the annexation of the Crimea by the Russian Federation, supported the provision of human rights assistance to Ukraine, voted for the UN General Assembly resolution "Ukraine's territorial integrity". 
The Ambassador of Ukraine expressed gratitude for the allocation of $ 2 million in 2014-2017 by the Government of Korea for internally displaced people and € 100,000 to support the OSCE mission in Ukraine.
