President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko had an audience with His Majesty King of the Belgians Philippe.

Petro Poroshenko thanked the King for the political support, solidarity and practical assistance to Ukraine in countering the external aggression.

The interlocutors noted the intensification of economic bilateral relations, as well as expressed satisfaction with the high level of cooperation in the framework of international organizations.

The Head of the Ukrainian State is hopeful that Belgium will continue to support Ukraine on the path of integration into the European Union and in the sanctions policy until the full restoration of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

In the context of commemorating the 85th anniversary of the Holodomor victims of 1932-1933, Petro Poroshenko emphasized the importance of Belgium recognizing Holodomor as crime against the Ukrainian people.

The President of Ukraine invited His Majesty the King of the Belgians to visit Ukraine at his convenience.
