The visit was aimed at exchanging experience, providing expert advice and assistance for creating public radio and television broadcasting system in Ukraine and practical aspects of its management according to European standards.

A wide range of activities has been implemented during the Ukrainian delegation’s stay in Belgium, including the meetings that were held in the Government and the Parliament of Flanders, with the representatives of the regional public broadcaster (VRT), the Flemish Journalists Association and the Flemish Council for Journalism as well as visits to the European institutions.

A visit was organized within the framework of the Council of Europe, the European Union and the Department of International Affairs of Flanders Joint Programme “Strengthening Information Society in Ukraine”.
