On the Day of Constitution of Ukraine, President Petro Poroshenko paid tribute to author of the first Constitution of the country Hetman Pylyp Orlyk.

The Head of State and his wife laid flowers to the memorial sign of Hetman in Kyiv. Together with the President, the ceremony was also attended by Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, First Deputy Chairman of Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy, Kyiv CSA Head Vitali Klitschko, Kyiv RSA Head Volodymyr Shandra, government officials, people's deputies, public figures and clergy representatives.
