Place Guillaume - central square of city of Luxembourg and one of the most visited little squares in the city is hosting the Ukrainian photo exhibition reflecting the suffering of the men and women affected by the miseries of the war which is ravaging eastern Ukraine.
Representatives of the Embassy of Ukraine to the Kingdom of Belgium and Luxembourg and the Mission of Ukraine to NATO took part in the official opening of the photo exhibition" Ukraine today: defense against aggression, struggle for peace, freedom and democracy” that was held on 21 May, 2015 at the central square of city of Luxembourg Place Guillaume.
The exhibition includes works of the Ukrainian photographers Artem Slipachuk, Mykola Tymchenko, Oleg Tereschenko, Ruslan Kaniuk, selected by the Ukrainian newspaper "Day" and will remain open until the July 1, 2015.
Photo exhibition is a joint project of Embassy of Ukraine in Belgium and Luxembourg, the Mission of Ukraine to NATO, Honorary Consul of Ukraine to Grand Duchy of Luxembourg Claude Radoux, municipality of city of Luxembourg and Ukrainian newspaper "Day".
The event was attended by the representatives of state and city authorities, the diplomatic corps accredited to Luxembourg and the Ukrainian community in Luxembourg.
