On 17 November 2010, on the eve of the visit of the Crown Prince Philippe of Belgium who will lead the Economic mission to Ukraine, Ambassador of Ukraine H.E. Mr. Ihor Dolhovwas invited for an audience with Crown Prince Philippe to the Royal Palace.

The Crown Prince of Belgium highlighted the importance of keeping on the dynamic political dialogue between Ukraine and Belgium, in particular in the light of the Belgian EU Presidency and Ukraine-EU Summit in Brussels on 22 November 2010.

During the meeting preparations for the Economic mission of the Crown Prince Philippe to Ukraine on 21-24 November this year were discussed. The sides also exchanged views on the current state of the economic cooperation between Belgium and Ukraine. Heightened was the interest of Belgian enterprises to Ukraine that is shown by the number of participants in the Mission. In the context of the discussion on the experience of economic relations between two countries, the Ambassador of Ukraine handed over materials on historical presence of Belgian businessmen in Dnepropetrovsk region of Ukraine.
