Delighted to inform you that for the first time in Belgium in the city of Antwerp is going to be screened the film directed by Oles Sanin The Guide (Ukrainian: Поводир, Povodyr) at Cinema Zuid Antwerpen, WAALSE KAAI 47.

The Guideis a 2014 Ukrainian historical drama film directed by Oles Sanin, which story is based upon wanderings of an American boy, who became an orphan after murdering of his father, and the Ukrainian blind minstrel, a man who, dangerously, sings songs of Ukraine’s glorious past freedom and independence, across the soviet Ukraine of the early 1930s. The film is inspired by real life events.

The film will be screened twice:

– onTuesday, January 20, 2015,19.00 PM and

– onTuesday, January 27, 2015, 19.00 PM

In Ukrainian and Russian with English subtitles.

Attention! On Tuesday, January 20 the film director Oles Sanin will attend the event and will be ready to discuss his film with the viewers.
