The focus of Ambassador’s meeting with Jean Olinger, Political Director of the Ministry for Foreign and European Affairs of Luxembourg, was on the issues relating to the security situation in Ukraine, Ukraine’s renunciation of the non-aligned policy, Ukraine’s internal policy, prospects for Ukraine’s EU integration, bilateral cooperation within NATO. Jean Olinger assured of full support by Luxembourg for Ukraine’s territorial integrity and independence.

An in-depth discussion of the pace of economic reforms implemented in Ukraine, further ways to take forward Ukraine’s cooperation with European Investment Bank was held during Ambassador’s meeting with the management of the Bank. This influential financial institution intends to considerably increase the loan portfolio for Ukraine as well as launch a new project in the field of education.
