The celebrations dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the birth of Taras Shevchenko took place on May 11, in the church of St. Prince Vladimir Equal Greater Brussels

The audience enthusiastically embraced a concert of the Theatre-Studio "Primrose" of Lviv National Medical University, that performed the songs of Ukrainian composers song and the poetries of Shevchenko and also the songs dedicated to the tragic events on Maidan in Kyiv.

The representatives of the European institutions, diplomatic corps, the Ukrainian community and the clergy were present at the celebration.
