On 25 March 2014, Mr. Ihor Dolhov, Ambassador of Ukraine to Belgiummet Mrs. Sabine de Bethune, Chairman of the Belgian Senate.

During the meeting the parties exchanged their views on the political situation in Ukraine, particularly in connection with the Russian military aggression against our country and the illegal annexation by the Russian authorities of the Crimean autonomous republic. Mrs. Sabine de Bethune condemned the Russian military aggression on the territory of Ukraine and emphasized the full support of Belgian parliamentarians for the sovereignty and the territorial integrity of Ukraine.

  The Chairwoman of the Belgian Senate expressed their support of the democratic development of Ukraine and its European aspirations.
