On April 17, as part of a working visit to Brussels, the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine, Mrs. Iryna Vereshchuk, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Belgium, Mrs.
Hadja Lahbib.
Mrs. Vereshchuk express gratitude to the Belgian side for providing comprehensive military, humanitarian and financial support to our country.
During the dialogue, it was emphasized the importance of providing military aid to Ukraine, in particular air defense equipment, which will be able to protect not only critical infrastructure facilities, but above all the lives of Ukrainians from russian missiles and drones.
The focus of attention was on the issue of humanitarian support, which became even more urgent due to a series of barbaric russian attacks on Ukrainian energy facilities.
Also, during the conversation, the parties discussed the need for further strengthening of sanctions pressure against the aggressor state for crimes against Ukraine and Ukrainians.
The issue of russian forced deportation of Ukrainian children became a one more topic of the dialogue.
According to the results of the meeting, Mrs. Hadja Lahbib assured the further support of Ukraine by the Belgian side in our struggle for freedom and independence.
