The 16th Conference of Speakers of Parliaments of Small European States was held in Luxembourg. For the first time, at the invitation of the President of the Chambre des Députés Grand-Duché de Luxembourg Mr. Fernand Etgen, Ukraine was also represented at the event as a sign of great solidarity with our country.

The Head of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Mr. Ruslan Stefanchuk addressed to the participants of the conference and emphasized the importance of joint efforts aimed at supporting Ukraine in its struggle against the aggressor state - totalitarian russia; an important element on the path of this struggle is the support of Ukraine in its aspirations to become a full member of the European Union and NATO.

Also on this day, the First Deputy Head of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Mr. Oleksandr Korniyenko, addressed to the participants of the conference with a speech in which he outlined the current security situation, noted the crimes committed by the russians against Ukrainians, in particular, abduction of children and their subsequent deportation to the territory of the russian federation. Moreover, Mr.Korniyenko called for joint efforts to return Ukrainian children to their Homeland as soon as possible, as well as to strengthen sanctions against the military-industrial complex of the aggressor state. Particular emphasis was focused on the need to support the Peace Formula proposed by the President of Ukraine Mr. Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

We express our gratitude to the states participating in the Conference for their solidarity with Ukraine. Special words of gratitude to the Chamber of Deputies of Luxembourg and its President, Mr.Fernand Etgen, for the constant and powerful support of Ukraine in the fight against russian evil.
