Opening of the Petrikivsky painting exhibition took place at a prestigious club "Cercle Munster" of the capital of the Grand Duchy, on the 9th of April, in the framework of the Petrikivsky painting presentation in Europe.

The fact, that this year the Committee of UNESCO will consider possibility of elevation of the Petrikivsky painting to the status of UNESCO intangible cultural heritage, was mentioned in a welcoming message on behalf of the Ambassador of Ukraine Ihor Dolhov.

Among numerous guests of the event there were representatives of the Government of Luxembourg, the diplomatic corps, business and cultural circles and the media.

The exhibition, which will be open until 15^th of April, presents the best works of the craftsmen from Dnipropetrovsk: painted panels, toys and pottery.
